Dès notre arrivée, mes accompagnatrices et moi avons été accueillies comme des reines. Le processus est simple : vous réservez votre plage horaire en ligne et effectuez une présélection de robes avant votre visite.

À votre arrivée, un espace privé vous attend avec votre sélection déjà préparée.

Le choix est impressionnant, les prix sont très raisonnables et la qualité est exceptionnelle.

Mon conseil : entourez-vous des bonnes personnes. On sous-estime souvent l'importance de ce moment. J'ai la chance d'être entourée de femmes extraordinaires et nous avons toutes pleuré lorsque j'ai essayé LA robe.

Un souvenir que je n'oublierai jamais.

Great dresses but hard to find modest options

Always the best dresses here. I've ordered dresses online from other retailers and always end up returning them and finding one at Boutique 1861.

J’ai été reçue avec le sourire et avec soin! Lorsque j’ai demandé une autre taille, on n’a pas hésité à aller vérifier et se coordonner avec l’autre boutique pour que le morceau arrive rapidement.
Impossible de repartir de 1861 sans avoir trouvé plusieurs morceaux magnifiques et de qualité!

Expérience parfaite, Marie à été de très bon conseil et à su accompagné notre marié avec beaucoup de bienveillance !

Getting an appointment was the best idea. We got great service and suggestions from Clara, and found the perfect dress and shoes for my wedding. For wedding dresses, VERY reasonably priced. Went into the neighboring stores after and got jewelry as well. It gives such soft romantic girly vibes, my favourite store in Montreal for sure!! It's an absolute dream.

I had the BEST experience here. I ordered a few gowns, and needed to make a change to my order - customer service team was amazing. So kind and helpful. Then, I needed to return the gowns I didn't want, and returning was clear and communication was incredible. 100% recommend.

Had an absolute emergency when my original wedding dress was damaged beyond being wearable 2wks before our special day.
Was looking desperately to find a replacement locally, but wasn't loving what was available, so I turned to Boutique 1861. I have purchased from them in the past, and have always loved their clothing so knew the quality was going to be amazing. Luckily I was able to find a dress that was similar to my original but also something that I loved. My biggest concern was making sure it arrived in time. I am eternally grateful to Fatima. She was so kind, quick to respond to my situation, and did everything she could to help me get my dress delivered on time. She and everyone involved in that process are so amazing, and I can not thank you enough! ❤️

I love this store. This place is my go-to. I needed dresses for my bridesmaids and for my mother and we found exactly what we were looking for. The staff is amazing and I can not recommend this store and its service more.

J’y suis allée pour un essayage de robe de mariée. J’avais réservé une salle pour 1h30 et j’ai eu un très bon service. L’employée a pu suggérer des options qui sortaient des sentiers battus et qui alimentaient toujours ma réflexion, même si elles ne faisaient pas partie de mes coups de coeur finaux. Bref, belle expérience et je recommande!

First and foremost, I knew nothing about this company and actually found dresses online from competitors that I wanted, and found out they were actually resellers who sold bad product.

I was planning on buying my partner a brand new dress because she showed me a lot of these companies who were not legit.

so i decided to buy her one from a Canadian company who was actually selling REAL, good quality dresses, and found Boutique 1861 on google as the reviews were amazing.

I did some digging and found out that they have over 7000 reviews being at 4.8 at the time of reviewing this, I looked at the bad reviews and turns out it was just a bunch of cranky people complaining about pulls in fabric or little wrinkles even though they bought the “second chances” dresses which are basically used dresses which at the massive discounts they give them, is an amazing value, but what do you expect, they do the best they can, but I wanted a new dress for my partner for her birthday.

Being a man, I obviously didn’t do enough research and ordered the wrong size and only a day later realized this mistake, in ONE DAY they had already shipped my product (keep in mind I paid for express shipping) I thought it was crazy how fast these guys were, so I was worried I couldn’t get a refund, and more importantly, my partners dress wouldn’t fit.

So I called and a lovely woman named Rebecca helped me over the phone, she said SHE herself would help me in this stressful situation and said that she would find as similar as possible dresses that I thought she’d love, in the same price range, just in a different size, and she gave me 7 options and immediately fell in love with one of them myself.

She helped me understand the return and refund policy as I just need to ship it in from the post office.

The point of all of this is that I’ve never bought anything from them, heard nothing from them besides my partner mentioning ONCE that Boutique 1861 was the place she’s ALWAYS wanted a dress.

The team at boutique 1861 are truly amazing people, if you need a dress, or anything clothing for that matter, if you live in Ottawa like myself, or LIVE in Montreal you MUST order or stop into their physical store.

I WILL be buying again, the service alone has made me seriously appreciated the company, thank you Rebecca, thank you Boutique 1861, and please keep doing what you’re doing, much Love -Xavier Fry
