Quite simply the best boutique in Montreal for unique, couture, elegant yet wearable, on-trend yet classic clothing, bags, and accessories (and this, in a city known for exquisite fashion)! Whatever beautifully and thoughtfully curated treasures I find here are raved about in the States, fit perfectly, make amazing gifts, and bring me great pleasure and comfort. I recently had to cancel an online order, and Nora, Rebecca, and the rest of the Boutique 1861 team were so courteous and gracious it amazed me: they truly set the standard for impeccable customer care. My go-to store when I lived in Montreal and a must-stop on every visit, every boutique aspires to the je ne sais quoi magic and femme joy of Boutique 1861, but they alone carry the torch! Je suis aller magasiner ma robe en septembre 2026, j’ai réserver une salle privé pour l’essayage de ma robe et celle de mes demoiselles d’honneur.
L’expérience était absolument fantastique. Salle semi privé, ambiance de feu, les filles sont là, à notre disposition et dévoué.
Les robes sont également magnifique, et les modèles d’essai vient dans une belle panoplie de grandeur.
J’ai pu repartir avec ma robe le jour même, ainsi que 3 de mes demoiselles d’honneur ❤️

If I could, I'd give them an endless amount of stars! Their customer service is top notch and their clothing pieces are stunning. They go above and beyond when it comes to helping you out, finding the right size, and helping with finding items for you both in-store and online! I cannot say enough good things about this store and their team. I have been buying clothing items from them for years and none of them disappoint. I always get so many compliments too!

I’ve found two lovely dresses for upcoming weddings over the last month! The staff is very helpful, and the selection is gorgeous. Love that they have lots of dresses in larger sizes (some go up to 4-5xl) 🙏🏼 and the prices are great! 👗

Robbie was so incredibly kind and attentive during my visit to the store. Asked me if I needed anything shortly after I came in, asked to prepare a changing room for me when he noticed I was picking up items, helped zip me into a dress to I could see that it properly fit and reassured me about which item was more flattering. Dès notre arrivée, mes accompagnatrices et moi avons été accueillies comme des reines. Le processus est simple : vous réservez votre plage horaire en ligne et effectuez une présélection de robes avant votre visite.

À votre arrivée, un espace privé vous attend avec votre sélection déjà préparée.

Le choix est impressionnant, les prix sont très raisonnables et la qualité est exceptionnelle.

Mon conseil : entourez-vous des bonnes personnes. On sous-estime souvent l'importance de ce moment. J'ai la chance d'être entourée de femmes extraordinaires et nous avons toutes pleuré lorsque j'ai essayé LA robe.

Un souvenir que je n'oublierai jamais.
