By coming into our stores you can discover the 1861 experience, try on your items directly in the store, and get advice from one of our stylists.
Orders to be picked-up in store are made available at the time and date indicated in your order confirmation. It is not mandatory to pick your order up on the very same day, but the countdown for the allotted return delay of 30 days starts on this date.
After this 30-days window, if you do not wish to keep your items, you will have to take your decision directly in store, upon picking up your order. If, six months after placing your order online it still hasn’t been picked up, this order won’t be available in store anymore, and the online store will take a decision depending on the situation.

Please note that orders may incur additional duties and costs at the time of delivery. If a parcel is refused and returned to us, related fees will be deducted from your refund.
All orders are processed in the order we receive them. There may be a delay of 24 to 48h allowing the preparation of the order.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email.
You will receive a tracking number from Canada Post or UPS so you can track your package.
We deliver to any valid Canadian or international address, providing they are in a valid country*.
As in store, sales tax are applied on items bought on 1861.ca, in compliance with federal and provincial laws, according to your order's total value and the shipping address. Orders shipped internationally or to the United States are not currently submitted to any sales tax. These conditions may change without notice.
International shipping: Orders may incur additional duties and costs at the time of delivery.

If a package is returned to us because it was not claimed by you, refused by you, or due to a delivery attempt to a wrong address, we will refund the merchandise minus the shipping fees charged by Canada Post or UPS. Alternatively, you can pay the shipping fees in order to have your package sent again.
