Annatha | Short Sleeve Blue Midi Dress

Absolutely stunning! I love the colour and the fit, it’s truly so flattering and girly and just beautiful. However I’m a little sad it’s a little loose on the top — it is not a perfect fit but I will be getting it adjusted to fit! I can’t wait to wear this when the weather gets warmer. Only con in my opinion: get ready to steam this dress a lot, the material gets wrinkly VERY easily.

This dress thought of everything: the neckline, the sleeves, the lace waist peek-through, lined in the right places… I’ve never bought anything in this colour, but decided to risk it because of how many other features of the dress were so appealing. I thought it wouldn’t suit me… but wow, I was shocked by how the colour came alive on me! It combines so many eras—Rococo, Edwardian, Georgian—while still looking very contemporary.

One thing I am taking off a star for is the workmanship/price discrepancy. There are a lot of loose threads in many areas of the dress that I’ll need to trim, and for the price, the workmanship is not up to standard.

A size note: I’m about 34-35” in the underbust right now (the Quarantine 15 is real, y’all) and the L just barely zips up with a lot of coaxing and exhaling. It’ll fit more comfortably once I get back into my regular routine, but if you’re more than that, expect to have some trouble with the zipper. Otherwise, I got a lot of compliments and admiring looks when I wore it out for the first time to a craft market yesterday! It’s a very whimsical yet subtly sexy dress. If you want to turn heads still while looking very sweet, fun, and cute, this is the dress for you.
