Return or exchange your items without any worries!
Return from Online order
- Please note that you have 15 days from the date of reception of your order to ask for a return
and send back your package through mail or drop it off in store. - All items must be returned in their original state: they must not have been worn, washed or altered and be free of stains, rips, pulls, hair, fur or perfume.
- The original tag must still be attached to the item.
- Boutique 1861 does not cover return fees. Postal fees will be deducted from the amount reimbursed.
- Regular priced items are eligible for a return, a store credit or an exchange. If you chose the store credit option, you will receive a 5$ bonus. Boutique 1861 covers postal fees for exchanges within Canada.
- Sale items are only eligible for a store credit (without bonus) or an exchange. Boutique 1861 covers postal fees for exchanges within Canada.
- Items marked as ‘final sale’ cannot be returned or exchanged. All accessories (excluding shoes, sunglasses and veils), lingerie (excluding bralettes), swimsuits, gift cards and home decor items are final sale.
- Reporting of a defective item must be done within 15 days of receiving your order. Please contact our customer service team at info@boutique1861.com and submit a picture of the problem so we can find the best solution to your situation.
Return from in store order
Please note that return policies are not the same in-store and online.
- Clothing and shoes eligible for a return can be returned within 15 days after the purchase, either for a credit note (valid in our physical stores) or an exchange.
- In-store purchases are not refundable.
- Returns have to be made directly in store.
- Returns have to be accompanied by original receipt.
- All tags must still be on the item.
- The item must be in its original state: it must not have been worn, washed, or damaged, and must contain all pieces (if it applies).
- The following items are final sale:
They are not eligible for an exchange or a credit note.
- We allow ourselves the right to refuse any parcel not matching our criteria.

Can i return an item if it doesn't suits me?
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
Do you cover return fees ?
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
