Dot & Lil’s base formulas are made with natural ingredients. The brand carefully selects both natural fragrances (such as essential oils) and high-quality synthetic fragrance oils to create its signature scents. Essential oils are used whenever possible—like lavender, bergamot, eucalyptus, and lime. However, some favorite fragrances, such as honeysuckle and rice flower, don’t exist in a safe, natural form. In those cases, Dot & Lil opts for premium, body-safe synthetic fragrance oils to offer a wider and more unique scent selection.

For those who prefer to avoid synthetic fragrances, all ingredients are clearly listed on each product and its corresponding product page. If essential oils are used, they are listed as “essential oil”; if synthetic fragrances are included, they appear as “parfum” or “fragrance oil.”

Most Dot & Lil products are vegan-friendly. The only exceptions are the bottled milk baths, sachets, bath cubes, and bubble milks, which contain ultra-moisturizing powdered cow’s milk. Dot & Lil also chooses to avoid the use of palm oil and animal-derived oils in their formulations.
