Return Policy ♡ Return or exchange your items without any worries! ♡

We’re giving you peace of mind this holiday season! Our return policy is now more flexible so it’ll be easier to make your loved ones happier!  

If you place an order between November 20th and December 10th, you will have until January 10th to return your package.

The return policies are not the same in store as online.
The following information is only valid for the online boutique : www.1861.ca.

For a return, you can choose one of the following options :

  • receive an online store credit + 5$ Bonus gift card
  • do an exchange (Free in Canada only)
  • get a refund.

You live close by Montreal? You can bring your return directly to any of our store locations  :)

♡ ONLINE STORE CREDIT + 5$ Bonus gift card ♡

If you choose to receive an online store credit (with no expiration date) instead of a refund, we offer a 5$ Bonus Gift Card, which you can use on a future order. This is a one time bonus offer per order.

  

♡ EXCHANGES - Free in Canada only 

An exchange can only be done for :

  • the same item in a different size, colour, or pattern
  • another item for the same cost

If the item you’d like is still available, we will be happy to put it on hold for you.

The shipment of exchanges is free in Canada; for international and United States exchanges the fees will be at your own expense (in which case we'll contact you by email). As soon as we receive your return, we will mail your exchange to the address given on your original order. You’ll receive a confirmation email with the Canada Post tracking number.

If you want to make an exchange in store directly, you can do so by bringing your bill, but only for the same item in a different size or a different pattern/colour.


♡ REFUND ♡

Your order will be refunded in full, except the cost of shipping and the taxes applied on the shipping fees. The refund will be made on the same method of payment used for your order. You’ll receive a confirmation of the refund by email.

  • Refunds sent by mail will be processed within 1 to 3 days of being received.
  • Refunds dropped in stores will be processed within 1 to 4 days of being received.


♡ In all cases, please make sure you follow these few instructions:

  • Your return must be made within 30 days of the shipment date of your order

Please note that we don’t cover or refund the return shipping fees, unless an item is faulty or if you received incorrect items.

    • In person : drop-off in one of our stores (the final decision concerning your return is made by the online store).

  • Accessories (except shoes) and home items are final sales. They are not eligible for refund, exchange, or credit note.
  • Sales items are not refundable, but it is possible to make an exchange or choose the credit note option
  • The tag at the bottom of the item identifying it as being valid for a return must not have been removed
  • The item must be in its original state: it must not have been worn, washed, or damaged, and must contain all pieces (if it applies).
