Years ago I bought the perfect robe from 1861, it was a statement piece loved and cherished..and when I bought the Gokyo robe I knew it would be the kind of piece my daughter would wear for years in her new apartment in Paris. This robe looks gorgeous, but evokes drama and sense of a time gone by when lounging was an art form. It’s pretty , lightweight and artful. She loved it, and afternoon coffee on a lazy Sunday in France seems to be a perfect testament to everyone to buy this delightful garment. 1861 has never been a clothing company to me, but a curated experience.
