I am literally obsessed. The fit is incredible, I love the combination of the zipper and corset back, and has a beautiful combination of snatched corset and flowy skirt. The red colour is rich and gorgeous, I am so happy with it!

This dress is EVERYTHING!
The material is real silk and it's so soft and heavy (in a good way, it doesn't feel cheap at all). It drapes beautifully and it hugs the curves very well. I adore this dress! I love it so much that I considered buying a second one in another color. I'm 182 lbs, 5'5'' and I bought the XL size. I did fit into the L but not very comfortably.

I wanted a simple and light wedding dress as we are eloping for a beach wedding. This dress is simple, not much details so you can add more extravagant accessories like a pearl or lace veil and jewelry. The slit goes very high (above hip) but when trying it, I realized it only opens slightly when you take a big step. The material is pretty thin and there is no padding. I like that I don’t need alterations (except for the length, which my grandma can do)! You can adjust a little to your shape with the strings in the back.

I was in a panic to find a dress in time for prom, and I found Boutique 1861 on a long Reddit thread recommending good dresses, and fell in love with the dresses on the site. A lot of American brands don't have simple, classy, and timeless gowns and this dress was the perfect color and style. It shipped EXTREMELY quick and in such good condition; my dress actually came in before my friend's and she ordered domestically! It fits beautifully and is the perfect weight, airy and breathable, but heavy enough to keep the slit covered when unprompted. LOVE IT!
